8TH ANNUAL RACE FOR OPEN SPACE

SATURDAY, JULY 18, 2009 - 8AM

5K (3.2 mi) RACE & WALK
All proceeds benefit the Nantucket Conservation Foundation

Start Time: 8:00 AM (both race and walk)

Entry Fee: $40
The entry fee includes a $25 donation to the Nantucket Conservation Foundation’s Land Fund.

Wheelchair racers must pre-register by July 13 to ensure safety precautions with local police.

Registration & Check In:

When: 7:00 AM - 7:45 AM on Race Day
Where: Westmoor Club - Cliff Road

Course:
The 5K (3.2 mi) course will begin and end at the Westmoor Club on Cliff Road. The running & walking course will run along Cliff Road past the Tupancy Links property, down Madaket Road past the Foundation's Sanford Farm, and back to the Westmoor Club on Cliff Road via Crooked Lane

Results:
Professional, computerized timing and results by Spitler Timing, Providence, RI.

Awards:
Awards in male and female age categories (13-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+ , and wheelchair)

We appreciate your cooperation in helping to alleviate traffic problems and make this a safe event for everyone.
